Acidic Jew knows something I don't...Do you also???

Postby HUMP PROOF » Thu Jan 08, 2009 7:48 pm

So I'm playing acidic jew...and after about three moves, I recruit radial and pick up two of his pieces. He leaves. The win is recorded. However, after seeing him in the lobby, I decide to play him again. This time, the first orb appears close to me. At the site of this, he decides to leave but his forfeit is not recorded as a loss. Although I have been playing for some time, I don't think I've ever encountered this. Does this apply all the time? I'm guilty of not reading the advanced techniques but I don't have enough patience for that. Any answers welcome...

No move games do not count toward a win or loss total.

This is probably due to the infamous "frozen" bug that this was implemented.
Changed for the sake of mobile browsers everywhere.

The no-move-no-loss rule has been around for as long as I can remember. A lot of nubs abuse that rule when they don't get the first orb. I don't see why though, Oncobyte already disproved the "first orb wins more" theory.
Oncobyte wrote:This is a luck containing game. We like that. The randomness means that you have a tremendous variety of options and almost every game you play is different than the last. The same strategy doesn't work every time. Sometimes, you will lose entirely because of bad luck. Play another "hand" of QR and get over it.

As Rydash said, games count starting from move 3.

And yes, this was implemented because of the "frozen" bug we surely have all experienced sometimes.
