What kind of car do you drive?

The debated theory that a life can exist outside of the QR Arena

What kind of car do you drive?

Postby Rhox » Mon Jul 09, 2007 12:10 pm

The only reason I'm posting this is because I got a '91 Jimmy the other day for my graduation present (yes I know, 91, but we're not rich or anything) and I wanted to let Jimmi know I ride him everyday. Then I started wondering what everyone else drives, so spill the beans.

My beater is a 92 Mitsubishi Expo (known as the Sexpo) with 180k+ miles on it. Runs like a champ, smells like a foot. You will know its me because of the QR sticker and the I <3 Neil Diamond sticker.

Then we have the family truckster which is a 05 Chrysler Town and Country with all the hot shit a young family needs. Stow and go, motherfuckers!

'Bout time this topic arrived!

Here's some pics of my black beauty:

Image Image Image
I bought this 2002 F-150 XLT in April of '06, with 50,000 miles for only 11 G's. The previous owner also owned a Lightning model, and did all that he could to soup up this ride to perform like his Lightning F-150 before selling.

Image Image
These puppies get me from point A to point B with style, if not quicker. ;) Extreme Force Nitto racing tires (wide tread) with 19" chrome MBMotoring rims!

Image Image
No custom interior (yet), but I did just install a sweet sound system:

Behind the driver's seat...

12" VÖLFENHAG Sub Woofer (1000 watts) w/Box
Image Image
Under/behind passenger seat...

MA Audio Amplifier (800 watts)
Image

...and who needs an iPod-Ready system when you've got a 6-CD changer?
Image

As you might've guessed, I'm pretty much in love with my pimp mobile. 8)
I try hard not to let my possessions define me, though, like some Mercedes Benz owners down the block. Still, I am an asshole on the road - I'll cut you off, and I tend to pump up my bass at red lights just to rattle the windows of the cars around me. So, if any of you are ever in the Southern California area, look out. ;)

Mine is a Peugeot 205 but has a black Punisher Skull on the front

That's the only reason I got it.

Turns out the guy that owned it last did something to it to make it a lot faster than it should... No one can figure out what though.
All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy.
That's how far the world is from where I am: just one bad day.

R.I.P. TLP, you changed my life.

nice

My work car is a 93 saturn. Its the most dependable car ive ever owned. It LITERALLY has never needed a repair in the 7 years I owned it, aside from normal wear and tear. However the interior of this car is fucking destroyed. Its like i let loose a bunch of wolverines high on PCP in that fucker.

oh yeah, Ive driven it to san francisco and back in a month

I love it.

My other car is a 2002 VW Jetta Wagon. We bought it and in 3 months had to replace the $7000 transmission. That car can suck my balls

I used to drive a '96 Chevy Lumina sedan but it died last fall in the middle lane of 76W in Philadelphia during rush hour so now I drive an amethyst blue '97 Plymouth Grand Voyager minivan that my mom used to drive. I'm leaving soon so I didn't want to buy a new car that would just depreciate for two years so that's what I've been driving most recently.

As a man who drives mini-vans exclusively, I feel for any man who has to use the words "amethyst blue" to describe their vehicle. We will all drive Mustangs in heaven, Dave... I promise.

At least get a bike, it's good exercise and you only look half as a loser.
