My Dear Sirs,

A most wond'rous creation. It reminds me of penguins mating,

i meant the art in the first post.

... but now that you mention it, if we can get the rights it could be double-sided.

Yea, unfortunately, the resolution isn't quite high enough to get a decent poster print out of it. Even at 150dpi, we're talking about only 13 inches. I may think about redoing one at ultra high poster resolution if there is enough interest. I didn't realize it'd be cool as a poster, but you may be right.

It would be an awesome poster. Best depiction of the game I've seen yet. :)

I'll join the party and say...

Fantastic, utterly fantastic. I was/am/will be amazed by this for days. The reading the orb description made me shoot milk outta my nose... and I was drinking Pepsi. Odd. Anyway, sweet job, looking forward to the poster if it becomes available!

Yogurt loads and penguin humping...ok fine. Anyways.

Congrats again on the awesome interpretation. You mentioned that this incorporated work from another project - how much did the other work influence the overall idea? Or did you frame the game in this manner first, and then find that it worked well with some of your models?

Also, is there any any chance that you might be willing to put together a render of the large-scale interpretation? Maybe just changing the scale so that you could still use your models - where the dudes are running away from the giant torii just trying not to get crushed? I wish I could, but putting that together in my programs is unrealistic. Thanks again, way to go!

It wasnt so much influence, as it was that he did a lot of work making a charcter that could be manipulated for poses and animations, facial expressions, and detailed hand and finger poses. the freaking animated guy can type. So he used his well developed charatcer as the people in QRland.

Again, to repost, and explore...

Yup. Lots of little Genes... The character is from an animated short I am working on called "Data." He is pretty much an exaggerated version of the nerdy software engineer type. Not an exact fit in ancient Mayan QRLand, but nondescript enough when tiny like that. Hey, at least I ditched his necktie...

If you're interested in the short, 'll be posting to an online look at the story of Data with progress animations and the like on my website... Coming soon in about 6 weeks...
