What seems to be the trouble, TLP? I'm trying to figure out all the problems and fix 'em as soon as I can, so, it'd help me greatly if there is more to that.

I dunno... I tried the shit and got some funny shit happening.. but I am e-tarded so it could be that I just fucked up.

I fucked up newsgroups and torrents for years before someone just showed me how to do it. I am a pain in the ass.

Okay, well, if you're trying to go through Mibbit.com:

1) In the 'Connect to IRC:' drop down box, select 'Other Server...' at the bottom of the list.

2) In the 'Server:; box, enter irc.jayisgames.com

3) In the 'Nick:' box, enter what you'd like to see your IRC nickname as (TLP, for instance)

4) In the 'Channel:' box, enter #quadradius -Note: The # is crucial.

If you're trying to connect through mIRC or another IRC client, um, I'm not very experienced with them. The help files of the program would be most beneficial, but, I'll try to help to the best of my ability.

For Everyone Having Trouble with Mibbit

There is a Java applet that will be able to connect you to the channel, but you must follow the following steps:

1) Go to http://pjirc.com/demo.php

2) Enter a nick, and select "Normal" for Applet Style (unless you want to try a different client mode. I haven't.)

3) Click Chat!. You'll end up at the main irc server of pjirc. Not to worry, you can still get to irc.jayisgames.com.

4) Type in /server irc.jayisgames.com

5) Then, type in /join #quadradius

6) Boom! You're there.

If you need to change your nick, the command is /nick [username]

Yes, yes, I'm plugging my own things again. Just get used to it.

Anyway, I just wanted to remind everybody that the IRC is a great place for on-the-fly conversations.

Also, I'm going to (try to) have an automatic list in there for tournament results.

And if I fail, what I really hope you guys do is talk about your tournament games in there, and discuss tournament strategy. (And talk smack about the other players who don't show up!)

So, yeah. Trying to revive interest, people!

I'd like to see this still work as well because I really like IRC...as long as we can get a few people to go to the chat regularly it just might work. (Hint hint: this means you should join the channel if you want it to have a chance)

In an unexpected turn of events, there were two others in the channel today, Blackson (mattmonyo here on the forums) and Skyling. Buhahaha.

So, the system still has potential life. Hurrah.
