Brad Kayal, my great friend and QR artist moving to San Fran

Postby Jimmi » Thu Mar 12, 2009 9:08 am

We threw him a great going away party at TC's in Boston last Thursday, and a bunch of 1 off good bye parties and gatherings here and there. Tonight is his last night in Boston, for tomorrow he flies out To San Francisco, CA, to work as an Art Director at an agency known as Venables Bell & Partners; better known as simply Venables.

He will be back in Boston to visit, and go back home with our old group to Philly a few times a year also. I shall be going to San Fran to visit, undoubtedly.

He is going to live and work in an awesome part of San Fran, and shall be living even more of the good life than we did out here on Boston. He has been here almost 8 years, and brought me up here just under 2 years ago.

And now he's leaving? dick.

I jokingly asked him about QRimson now, and he pointed out that we got more done the 2 years we lived in separate states, than we ever did when we lived in the same town. true, true. And this job wont work him 70+ hours a week, either. More time for awesomer projects, like QR!

So good bye Brad, see you in a few months I am sure. Whether that be here in Boston, San Fran, Philly, Allentown, or elsewhere.

Depends on where you go. I mean, if you're in San Diego, you should expect to not see the sky in a lot of places.

Pics from TC's in Back Bay. But ironically, we were at the Pour House right before we went to TC's that night.

Thanks everyone!

I'm currently spending the last few hours here on the east coast locked in Jimmi's apartment working on QR. I haven't slept in days and all he just keeps rambling on about is "GETTING NEW TILE ART DONE" or some such thing.

Regardless, it IS true we got much more of QR running at a distance of 300 miles when I was here and Jimmi was in Allentown so I figure making that distance 3,000 miles should increase productivity at least 100 times. Or maybe 1000 times. Or maybe just 1.5 times. I'm not sure and I hate math.

Anyway, we're just expanding the QR empire to include more states and that will only lead to good things.

If anyone is ever in SF let me know!

Congratulations! Cali's a great state, and S.F. is a great city.

But if you slackers were really serious about being productive, you'd move to Texas. You can bet that if we can get 2,000lb animals to do our bidding, we can get your flabby asses to work on Qrimson. Hell, we'll probably use the same method... give you plenty to eat and drink, and then surround you and harass you until you start moving and keep moving in the direction that we want. Keep this up every day until the job is finished, and then throw a barbeque to celebrate. Of course, we wouldn't barbeque YOU... :D

Anyways, have a great time in Cali!
Would you PLEASE stop shooting at the thermonuclear weapons!
