I have finally learned a bit about the game to have finally progressed a bit and I am winning what I consider an acceptable % of the games I play in.

I have grown very irritated at a tactic to end games. I will be the first to admit that I have quit games way to soon because of frustration. This can be a very frustrating game. When I do quit because of this I tell the opponent why I am resigning and that if I don't I might smash my mouse or something.

The point is that I admit that I have lost the game and take ownership of that loss. What is pissing me is the excuses that I am seeing now that I am not 100% cannon fodder. We can be in a great game that is moving at a reasonable pace, it matters not who might be ahead, but if I turn the game or improve my position with some type of quadradius miracle they type in the chat that they have suddenly become bored or that the game is to slow. This pisses me to no end. Are they trying to soothe their psyches by blaming the resignation on something besides that they lost the game?

Other than a membership is there any solution that seems to work for this?

If its a member that does this several times, post their name here. Call them out.

There is less incentive to play out a game against a guest because its not recorded.

Your experience is very common among guests - even with members. If I want to get a game in before I have to be somewhere, I'll sometimes play a guest. I usually stick it out, but when I have to go, I quit - winning or losing.

Becoming a member is the best way to overcome this problem. Pony up for a month and when the time to renew comes along, I'll sponsor you for another month.
