I'm a mid-level player with occasional sparks of greatness (or extraordinary luck), so take this advice with a grain of salt:
GROW SOME BALLS.
DO NOT sit back and shuffle around when your opponent has orbs and you don't.
DO NOT let your opponent grab 3 or 5 or 10 orbs with the same torus while you patiently wait to GET YOUR ASS KICKED WITH IT.
And above all else, DO NOT BITCH ABOUT FORBING if you do either of the above. YOU DID NOT GET FORBED. You got RAPED, because you were TOO FUCKING TIMID TO ATTACK.
Grab territory. If you can't grab territory, trade toruses with your opponent. If you can't make an even trade, attack anyways. It is better to force your opponent to stomp your toruses than to do nothing but cry about the injustice of it all as you lie on your back and think of England.
Confession time: I'm guilty of all of the above. But no longer. Starting February, I'm bringing my A game. Let's see which of you has the balls to do the same.
