I didn't think that would actually happen when I posted that. Turns out I had 47's number tonight. Anyway, sorry Rys4k, TRS rankings end at midnight even if Quadradius rankings don't.

In other news, I'm updating the way the scoring for this works. Each month you'll get 11 points for 1st, 10 for 2nd, 9 for 3rd, and so on until 1 point for 11th place. This will give us a better idea of where we stand throughout the year.

In other other news, I'm upping the prize for the winner. Not sure how much yet but it'll be more than the $20 I promised so keep it up everyone!

Let met tell you a story.

I'd only played 47 games, so I needed 13 to qualify, starting around 530pm today. Sanzo is a little ahead of me, I'd need to go 12 for 15 to tie him at 62, and I don't expect to make it.

10 or so games in, things are going pretty well...and then d2s shoots his dumb mouth off

in the previous game, my opponent left at the end, but it didn't say 'you win' and i wasn't sure if the game had registered. trying to wade through a 13 game marathon (I haven't played more than 10 games in 3 months, as many as 60 in more than 6 months), I was pretty keen to see if it had registered, so I logged in to the lobby in another tab to check, meanwhile I played the same opponent again in the original tab. i even bother to put up a communique/away message 'playing' but nevermind that, d2s, feeling butthurt and ignored that i won't play him WHILE I'M PLAYING ANOTHER GAME goes 'geez if it weren't for angel and demon no one would play anyone'
forget about all the games reported on the lobby and the DOZEN i've just logged...sheesh

anyway someone ELSE beats his ass, i forget who, and my efforts continue.

i finally hit 60, and see i'd need to go 2 for 2 to catch sanzo. to this point it's been a mix of opponents (some dancomono and delay, but some asshat and jacko) but just then 47 shows up and i figure it's fitting to get a top notch player for the 2 games i need to catch sanzo, so I go for it.

i manage the wins, finally tied up, and who shows up and challenges me but d2s, and now i'm all free, playing for 1st place.
needless to say he gets crushed by a combination of his own mistakes, karma cuz the orbs don't lie you whiny ass bitch, and, to end it all perfectly, his last two pieces killed with his own grow-quad desperation bombs.

it's probably a time zone thing right? your first post of the leaderboard is tagged at 11pm, perhaps you are east of quad official time...

The month has always ended at midnight, my time, for as long as I've been playing. Not sure why last night was different. When I logged in after 12 the leaderboard automatically went to an empty May with "AQR", but the games still counted for April. It's almost like it knew it should've been May but the games weren't logging for it yet.

Bitter much Mammal?? You assume everyone reads your mind so you can be mighty antisocial with communication. It was Angel and Tempest that I said since they played a ton of games in April, but who knows how much other stuff you will put in my mouth right? Facts mean nothing during a rant!

Call out my game all you want, you choose to be biased and pick only the things you want but the history on this board tells a different story right? The game hasn't changed in years and you and a few others finally catch up to a solid level of playing but you know if jimmi ever added a new power you would take months to figure it out

go re-read your post and see how much the blood in your eyes is really in your words.. not anything I have been doing... fabricate away and 'play the one style correctly' without even understanding why I play the way I do.. you probably don't even know what 'meta-game' is
