Does this shit work? (the Cantenna)

I can't deal with my jenky internet connection it has become a huge issue not just for Quad but also for my work. Plus side is that my building offers DSL free down side is that it doesn't work for shit.

I want to take matters into my own hands but I want to know if any of you can give me feedback on the Cantenna:

yeah it basically is, but I've read the level of persicion required in building one is pretty unforgiving so I figured I'd shell out, any one know of any other good similar products?

I think we just have 2 wireless routers, they still dont cover the whole house properly though. Of course, wireless sucks so I just use wired shit.

I built one... and it wasnt that hard. The parts all cost a total of 7 bucks, and the pringles were mighty tasty while building it. I already had a couple tools taht made it easier, so that might add to your cost if you dont have good ways of cutting tubing.
